Nissan Lease Plus Non Maintained Operating Lease

The Nissan Lease Plus Non Maintenance Lease is essentially the same as the Full Maintenance lease with the exception that the running costs of the vehicle are the lessees responsibility.

A monthly rental is established at the commencement of the contract after taking into consideration the term of the contract, anticipated kilometre usage and other operating factors. Whilst all running costs of the vehicle are the lessees responsibility, the monthly rental does include annual vehicle relicensing.

At the same time, an "Estimated Residual Value" is calculated for the vehicle which is the expected market value at the end of the lease. At the end of the lease period, the vehicle is returned to City Nissan, your authorised Nissan Dealer for Nissan Finance to dispose of.

As with the Full Maintenance lease, the Nissan Lease Plus Non Maintenance Lease is a "Operating Lease" as defined by the Income Tax Act and accordingly the vehicle does not appear on your balance sheet. The monthly rentals are regarded as an expense item and are therefore deductible for tax purposes.
