The family history of the 370Z stretches back to 1969, when hair was long and time was short. Its honourable ancestor was the 240Z, a coupe that still sends shivers down the spine of car connoisseurs.
Reviewers say the 370Z is Nissan’s most exhilarating ride yet, with just the right balance of brutish power and handsome refinement. It will cruise you around New Zealand in fine style, handling our scenic curves with sporty confidence. And if you get the chance to take the 370Z on the track, you’ll discover race-bred performance that will lift your eyebrows right off your face.Book Your Test Drive
Discover a new soundtrack for your life – the throaty snarl of Nissan’s 370Z. It’s the newest addition to a family that has earned a permanent place in the sports car hall of fame.
The aluminium-alloy 3.7 litre, DOHC, 24-valve V6 motor powering the 370Z is a marvel of automotive engineering. It’s powerful, clean and efficient - some have even called it ‘a work of engine design art’. And it delivers some very impressive numbers - 245kW @7000 rpm (332hp) and 363 torque @5200 rpm.
The 370Z combines Nissan’s hereditary sports car profile with aggressive, muscular details. It’s a head-turner, no doubt about it. To produce the car’s final shape, Nissan enlisted the services of every member of its design team in the UK and USA. The design project was sacred and no mistakes were made.
Inside the 370Z you’ll find a delectable level of luxury, including leather-accented seats, steering wheel and gear-shift. Technology delivers other desirable comfort features, such as 4-way power adjustable seats, a Bose® audio system and Bluetooth® handsfree phone system. Intelligent keyless entry assists with fast getaways.
To apply its power to the road, the 370Z lets you choose either a 6-speed close-ratio manual or a 7-speed auto with M-Mode, which uses ‘racing style’ paddle shifters on the steering wheel to move through the gears. It also has the benefit of SynchroRev Match, a computer that automatically adjusts engine speed at gear changes, so that every shift is spot on.

I brought my ute in on Friday and I would like to thank the two guys at the service desk for their friendly service and organising a loan vehicle on short notice. Please pass on my thanks to the mechanic who did the sports bar re-install.
